I spent a good chunk of my birthday playing Marvel Heroes Omega’s new local co-op mode with Faith. We had an absolute blast.
Since I’ve already invested quite a bit of time into the PC version of Marvel Heroes, I was hesitant to delve into the new console version. But, after seeing someone online say that it felt like an almost totally new experience, I decided to give it a shot. Boy, am I glad I did! The couch co-op alone is worth the price of admission (which is free unless you decide to pick up one of the founder packs). Add to that an updated story line and super slick visuals, and you’ve got yourself one of the best superhero games to hit the current console generation.
Marvel Heroes Omega is currently in closed beta, so you can either pick up one of the founder packs and jump in now, or wait until the open beta rolls around in a month or so. Kudos to the entire team at Gazillion Games who brought the original game and the console port to life! I’m looking at you, Asros, KingBacon, AgentNikki, etc.
Faith and I are kicking around the idea of live-streaming our heroic exploits if there’s enough interest. Please comment and let us know if that’s something you’d like to see.
Now if you’ll excuse me, Faith and I have some bad guy butt to kick.
