Whether you’re one that has fully immersed yourself in Pokemon Go or haven’t even considered playing, I’m sure you’ve at least heard of it. Our family has been having so much fun Poké hunting. We’ve not only explored all over our area but we’ve also been on a couple Pokémon hunting roadtrips.
Oh how we wish we were closer to Orlando. It’s one of our many happy places. But alas, we are not. If you are close to Orlando, you’ll want to check out the Orlando Pokemon Go weekend happening THIS weekend.
Celebrate Orlando’s Poké-tacular weekend – August 6-7, 2016!
True to our long history of creativity and family fun, Orlando has become a thrilling haven for Pokémon Go players who want to experience the hit game in the theme park capital of the world. From our walkable entertainment districts to our world-famous theme parks, players can find countless numbers of PokéStops and Gyms across the destination.
Hotspots like SeaWorld and Fun Spot America have already held meetups with dozens of lure modules activated around their parks, and our walkable entertainment complexes are jackpots for players who want to get the Orlando experience without the cost of a theme park ticket.
16 hours, multiple locations, non-stop lures AND a chance to WIN $1000 gift card! Go to VisitOrlando.com/pokemon for more details.
Here’s just a few tips for any Poké hunting adventure:
Make sure your phone batteries are fully charged.
Bring 1 or even 2 external phone chargers.
Pack plenty of water and snacks (Poké hunting is hard work 😉 )
Be aware of your surroundings. Look up from your phone when walking.. and enjoy the views.
If you go, and we will be so jealous if you do, come back and comment. Show us pictures and tell us what Pokemon you captured! Have fun!! Gotta catch ’em all!
I’ve been playing quite a bit of Borderlands 2 lately. And, being the completionist I am, I’ve been trying to finish all the challenges. If you’ve played Borderlands 2, you know that’s a pretty tall order.
I’ve put together some footage from a recent live stream session, showing where to find the Cult of the Vault, Vault Hunter on Wire, and I Can See Your Corpse From Here challenges in Claptrap’s Place, Southern Shelf, Southern Shelf Bay, and Sanctuary. You’ll find the videos below. If they’re helpful, please leave a comment letting me know to make more of these types of tutorials!
